Original 8"x10" watercolor painting on cold press paper. Unframed painting only.
Lester Young was a revolutionary saxophone player. His soft, lilting solos were entirely different from the hard-driving saxophone solos that were popular at the time. Young coined the term “cool jazz” to describe his style, which became one of the most prominent styles of the time. Cool jazz also directly influenced the development of bebop, both of which are popular forms of jazz that are still enjoyed today.
