I create impressionist paintings with a focus on jazz dance history. Jazz dancing, which includes swing dancing, charleston, and blues, is a black American artform that continues to evolve today. As a dancer myself, my mission is to celebrate artistic expression and educate viewers about the rich history of jazz and jazz dance in America.

When I am not painting dancers, I am inspired by the natural world around me in the Pacific Northwest. I love to create soft, contemporary paintings of mountains and flora.

Outside of painting, I love spending time with my dog Theo, dancing and teaching lindy hop, and eating my way around the world with my fiancé John.
